Under-Sink Drinking Water Filters
Under-Sink Drinking Water Filters in Sandy Springs
Kitchen filters for apartments, townhomes and older homes across Sandy Springs.
The simplest drinking-water upgrade
Under-sink drinking water filters in Sandy Springs remove chlorine taste and odor at the kitchen tap without the membrane and drain line of reverse osmosis. Installation takes about an hour.
For older homes, some carbon block filters are also certified to reduce lead. If your home was built before 1986, we recommend a certified lab test first, then a filter certified for what the test found.
They suit apartments near the Perimeter, townhomes, renters and anyone who wants better drinking water without a bigger project.
If you want broader protection, such as reduced dissolved solids or PFAS, RO is the stronger option. We will explain the difference plainly.
We also leave a short guide inside the cabinet showing how to change the cartridge in a few minutes.

Good to know
- Will it remove lead?
- Only filters certified for lead reduction do. We will tell you which ones are.
- How often do I change it?
- Usually every six to twelve months, depending on use.
- Can I upgrade to RO later?
- Yes. The cabinet work carries over.
- Does it slow the faucet?
- Slightly, at most. Most households do not notice the difference in daily use.
- Can it handle well water?
- For taste, sometimes. For bacteria or iron, a well needs its own treatment first, which we can design.
Choosing between a filter and RO
A simple way to decide: if your main complaint is taste or smell, an under-sink carbon filter is usually enough. If you have a specific concern, such as lead from older plumbing, nitrate on a well or PFAS, a certified RO system covers far more.
For many Sandy Springs households, the filter is a sensible first step. It is affordable, quick to install and easy to maintain. Because we use standard cartridge sizes and lay out the cabinet with room to spare, upgrading to RO later does not mean starting over. If you rent, we can install a filter that comes out cleanly when you move, leaving the cabinet as you found it.
